This is a small flock, raised right. If you’ve been looking for a turkey you don’t have to second-guess, this is it. Every bird was raised to the same Ayers Valley Farm standard as our chicken, so there’s no mystery about what’s on your table this Thanksgiving.

How it’s raised

These turkeys are raised on pasture with daily rotation, where they can scratch, forage, and live the way turkeys were designed to. They’re raised on chemical-free pastures and fed a non-GMO, herbicide-free, pesticide-free diet with no corn, soy, or flax. They get no antibiotics, no hormones, and no vaccines. During processing, the birds are chilled in purified ice water with no chlorine, so the meat stays clean from pasture to plate.

Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in poultry.

Pasture-raised turkey tastes richer than a store-bought bird because these turkeys actually move, forage, and build real muscle. Your family will taste the difference the first time they try it.

How the pre-order works

1. Reserve your bird now. For now, please check out with your turkey by itself.
2. Your turkey ships frozen Nov 16–18 and arrives by Friday, Nov 20. That gives you a full week to thaw it safely before Thanksgiving.

Shipping is free. Your turkey ships frozen with dry ice in eco-friendly insulated packaging. The AVF Guarantee is available at checkout: a full replacement for damage, loss, or spoilage.

About sizing: Every bird is a little different. Yours will weigh between 14 and 16 lb, enough to feed 10–14 people with leftovers.

Thawing: Allow about 1 day in the refrigerator for every 4–5 lb. Move your turkey from the freezer to the fridge by Sunday, Nov 22.

Our meats are delivered frozen to best preserve the quality. We pack our products into insulated boxes with dry ice so even if you're not home when they are delivered they will stay fresh until you unpack them the evening of delivery.

We deliver all across the USA, except for Hawaii and Alaska.

There is a $99, $125, or $175 order minimum, depending on your state, to ensure we have enough product in your box to maintain a safe shipping temperature.

We deliver orders on a weekly basis and you will be given an estimated delivery date prior to confirming your order. Orders can arrive in as early as 2 days depending upon your order date. Deliveries will occur during standard UPS delivery times.

If your meat arrives damaged, or you’re not satisfied with the quality, email us within 10 days and we’ll replace it or credit your account – your choice.
