Lemon Butter Cod

Ingredients
  • (2 Filets)Pacific Cod Filets
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • (2 Tbsp.) Butter
  • (1 clove) Minced Garlic
  • (1 lemon (2 Tbsp)) Lemon Juice
  • (1 Lemon) Lemon Zest (optional)
  • (1 tsp.) Dried Parsley
Directions
  1. Season the cod: Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the cod filets.
  2. Cook the cod: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add cod filets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make lemon butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in lemon zest and juice.
  4. Combine: Return cod to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top for about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
